Applications for Gingerbread Lane 2026 are now open. Submit your application for a chance to be part of Vancouver’s beloved holiday tradition.

NEW FOR 2026:
Entry selection will take place through a new draw process. Selection results will be announced on the Gingerbread Lane website throughout the application period.

REQUIRMENTS

SIZE

  • Minimum: 2' × 1.75'

  • Maximum: 3.5' × 4'

  • Maximum height: 4'

  • Base must not exceed 3.5' × 4'

CONDITION

MATERIALS

  • All visible decorative elements must be edible or food related.

  • Exceptions: structural base board, internal support frame, electrical wiring and Christmas lights.

  • Mechanical movement is permitted if it is safe and self contained.

STABILITY

  • Entries will be on display for nearly four weeks.

  • Please consider the stability and durability of your creation.

 

CREATIVITY

  • Holiday themes are encouraged, but not required.

  • Your creation may be a house, village, landscape, multiple structures or a creative conceptual scene.

  • Primary structures must be predominantly made of gingerbread.
